With the rapid growth and change in technology, it seems to outpace our ability to make sense of the changes as it morphs everyday. It outpaces out ability to think through what are the ethical uses of technology. The Founder of the Center for Digital Ethics & Policy at Loyola University, Dr. Don Heider proposes an interesting approach to enhancing digital ethics.

Don Heider is the former and Founding Dean of the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago. He is also the Founder of the Center for Digital Ethics & Policy. He is the editor of A Practical Guide to Digital Journalism EthicsDigital Ethics: Research & Practice and Living Virtually. Heider is a multiple Emmy-award winning producer and reporter who spent ten years in news before entering the academy. He currently serves as the Chief Executive of the Ethics Center at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University.
